Warmley Wheelers Easter Raffle Draw

Shield Chairman, Luke House, Helps Local Charity Prize Draw

Shield Services Group Chairman, Luke House, was delighted to be asked to help with the Warmley Wheelers Easter Prize draw.

Drawn by Lizzie, one of Warmley Wheelers’ service users, supported by Lou from The Warmley Waiting Room, the raffle had six great prizes. A luxury Easter egg was kindly donated by the Chipping Sodbury Lions, with five £20 gift vouchers for use at the Waiting Room, generously donated by Shield Service Group.

Andy Underdown, the Project Coordinator at Warmley Wheelers, commented, “This has been a fantastic effort by everyone involved in the draw, especially the team at the Waiting Room, which has managed to raise a large amount of the £663 total. To have the continued support of Luke and Shield Services Group means so much to us, as does the contribution from the Lions. Without the support of James and Kate Lindsey and their front of house team at the cafe, we would not have raised so much. A huge thank you to everyone who has made this possible.”

The winner of the Easter Egg was Tom, with Fiona, Derek, Marcia, Ms Myers and Joni all winning one of the £20 vouchers.

Shield’s Luke House, commented, “It’s so important for the Group and for me personally to continue to support local charities and initiatives such as Warmley Wheelers.  Without people like Andy and the team, the community would not be able to function as well, and people would not see their lives improve.  It was great to see Lizzie draw each of the winners and she did a really great job.”
