The Contamination Expo Series 2017

The Contamination Expo Series 2017 has come and gone and our Business Development team were there at the end of September manning the Shield Environmental stand in the ExCeL Centre, London.

Olly, Julian, Emma and Harriet were at the stand over the two days and they were joined by Tim from the Southampton branch and Craig Dennis from Compliance. We were also hosting Mavis Nye at the event who gave a very personal talk on her experience of being diagnosed with Mesothelioma and the subsequent actions she has taken to educate and make people aware of the hazards of asbestos. We met lots of people from all different areas of the industry, as well as this, we shared the hall with other businesses focused around Marine and Coastal Civil Engineering and protection from Floods. It was also great to gain more experience of exhibiting at these events and to promote Shield Environmental Services.
