Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation, a day that friends, families, communities, and workplaces come together to talk, listen and change lives.
Shield Services Group will be joining with Mind, Rethink Mental Illness and Co-op in encouraging all of our colleagues to have more mental health conversations than ever before. We know from our own initiatives that conversations about mental health have the power to change lives and improve everyone’s mental wellbeing.
Our Mental health First Aider, Joanne Robb, commented, “To have a national day that focuses people’s attention on such an important cause is crucial to addressing the challenging situation around mental health in the UK. From operating across the construction industry, the team at Shield know only too well the challenges that exist, which is why we have increased our focus on providing access to support for those impacted. We want our people to feel comfortable talking about their mental health”.
