Great British Business Awards Business of The Year!

Shield Services Group has been confirmed as the winner of ‘Business of The Year’ at The Great British Awards 2022.

At an awards ceremony organised by Great British Expos and Aspen Waite, held at the Hilton Reading, Shield was crowned winner out of a total of 1,600 entrants.

Reflecting on the win, Luke House, Chairman of Shield Services Group, commented, “After a really challenging past couple of years, I am delighted to be able to receive this award on behalf of all of our team members at Shield. This company was built upon the principles of family and collaboration, and that way of working is what makes us a success from day to day. I wish that we could bring all of the team here to celebrate, as this award is not down to any individual but to everyone. Lunch tomorrow will definitely be on me, as a token of thanks to everyone across the Group. I said during my recent radio interview with Adam Waite that I would rather that we won the Business of The Year Award over the Business Leader Award, which I was personally nominated for, as I only succeed if the team does, so I am delighted with this.  Finally, I would like to send my congratulations to all of the nominees at this year’s awards.”
