Shield Services Group Strengthens Senior Management Team

Darren Sheppard and Michael Perry Promoted to Strengthen Leadership

The Senior Management Team at Shield Services Group is strengthened with the appointment of Darren Sheppard (far left) and Michael Perry to Group Finance Director and Group Commercial Director, respectively. The appointments reflect the impact and commitment that both Darren and Michael have brought to their respective positions and teams.

Darren reflected, “It’s been a pleasure to work for Shield over the past 13 years, and I want to thank my team for helping to place the Group on a sound financial footing. To be promoted to the role of Director is something that I am incredibly proud of, and I look forward to, along with my team, helping to support the continued evolution of Shield Service Group.”

Michael commented, “I’m incredibly proud to have been promoted to Group Commercial Director. To move to a company such as Shield, which operates in a sector slightly outside of my comfort zone, always felt like it would be a challenge, however, from my first meeting with Chairman Luke House, any fears I had faded. Shield is a Business packed with knowledgeable, competent and dedicated staff, which has made my work-life for the past couple of years, and my progression into the Director role very comfortable. Shield is such a strong and secure business environment to operate within, and I look forward to playing my part in the Company’s continued success over the years to come.”

Coming from a QS background in construction, Mike is used to being on the other side of the fence to us, which has proven invaluable during his time here at Shield. He has positioned all of our divisions on sound and sustainable platforms from which we can service our clients’ accounts. With his vision for further efficiencies throughout the business, to make us stronger, it is a thoroughly deserved promotion and one that will provide further security for all of us here at Shield.
