Shield Scaffolding Services Makes Finals of NASC 2022 Awards, Twice!!

Shield Services Group’s Scaffolding Division has made the finals of this year’s National Access & Scaffolding Confederation Awards in both the Health & Safety (small) and Project of the Year (small) category awards.

The nominations focus on Shield’s approach to Health and Safety Process Improvement and how we demonstrate Excellence in Safety Leadership.  Additionally, the Project of the Year submission centres around the Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, where alongside our Shield Asbestos Services Division, we are supporting the main contractor, Tilbury Douglas, in delivering a £130millon refurbishment for Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

Jamie Angell, Managing Director of Shield Scaffolding Services, commented, “I am absolutely delighted that we have made the finals twice, for two such important areas of focus. It is a great reflection of all of our team’s efforts both on and off-site, and they should all take great pride in being finalists.  I hope that we go on to win the awards, as everyone deserves this.”
