Shield Services Group renews Armed Forces Covenant pledge
We are proud to announce that Luke House, Shield Services Group Chairman, has recently signed a new, updated, Armed Forces Covenant pledge, reaffirming our support of the Armed Forces community.
First signed in 2017, it is a pledge that Shield Services Group and its colleagues acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.
Luke House, reflected, “Over the course of the Group’s history, we have had numerous colleagues join us having left their respective branch of the Armed Forces, and gone on to forge a strong career. Seeing our association with former Armed Forces members continue, it felt right that I should take a look at our pledge and update to it ensure that it reflected our current position. We will continue to support those who have served and will be in attendance at further Armed Forces Recruitment events such as those organised by the BFRS, as we believe that this type of focus is one of the many contributory factors that has led to us being named Business of The Year”.
