New Operations Manager Joins Shield ME&FS To Cover South West Operations

Shield’s Mechanical, Electrical & Facilities Services (MEFS) division has appointed David Tipton as its new Operations Manager for the South West Region.

2024 has seen the MEFS divisions grow strongly once more, and with an increasing focus on providing support to clients in Devon and Cornwall, Divisional Managing Director, Danny Jackson and Facilities Services Director, Craig Coombes, have strengthened the team once more with this key appointment.

David, who has been in the Facilities Services sector for nearly 20 years had this to say about his appointment, “I’m very excited to join Shield in my new role as South West Operations Manager and have been warmly welcomed by the team. After working for some of the highest-profile customers in the country, I am very customer-focused, so it has been important to find a company with the customer at the top of the priority list. It was soon evident that Shield and I share the same ethos and customer focus. Competency is next on my list of priorities and I have been very impressed with the level of skill shown by the engineers we have on board. Filled with this excitement and enthusiasm I hope to build on the years of success achieved by the team and go forward to firmly entrench Shield as the leading M&E provider in the South West.”
