Shield Marine Services is Proud to Support TS Queen Mary
We are delighted to announce that Shield’s Marine Division has signed a letter of intent supporting the restoration of TS Queen Mary
Shield Marine has committed to providing the detailed design required for TS Queen Mary’s interiors, taking forward the beautiful concepts produced by WDC Creative.
The detailed design work for both interiors and insulation will involve:
- A Full vessel survey to refine the existing conceptual design.
- 3D laser scan
- Auto-Cad 2D & 3D drawings
- Project & procurement planning.
In addition, Shield Marine will create the insulation plan for TS Queen Mary.
Services provided by Shield throughout the restoration will include:
- Outfitting
- Teak Resin Decks
- Internal Deck Coverings
- Insulation
- Galley Equipment
- Fabrication
- Loose Furniture

Shield Marine’s generous contribution brings the total cash and in-kind corporate support for TS Queen Mary to £3.85M.
