Shield Demolition has become a member of the National Demolition Training Group which was formed back in 1978 to provide relevant training to demolition employees.
The NDTG offers assessments and training from Site Operatives to Manager Level across 5 regions and administers the CCDO Card Scheme so that the workforce has the appropriate training for demolition works.
We are keen on ensuring that all of our employees across each division have the appropriate training so that they are fully competent in the work they are asked to carry out and to minimise the likelihood of any Health & Safety issues. We also like to make sure that our employees are confident and take pride in the work that they do; having the necessary skills plays a big part in this.
