Shield Services Group Continues to Support Hanham Woods Academy Awards

For the second year running Shield Services Group has been the main sponsor of the Hanham Woods Academy Awards Evening. The event was once again held at the St Michael’s Centre in North Bristol and saw pupils from across the Academy receive awards for their efforts throughout the year.

The Academy is a part of the Cabot Learning Federation, and Shield’s support ensures that all of the pupils can enjoy the evening and celebrate their achievements.

Luke House, Chairman of Shield Services Group, commented, “Hanham Woods is close to my heart and since we sponsored last year’s event, we have built stronger links to the Academy, buy pricing insight on careers in construction and provided access to construction site visits in Bristol.  I wish all of the pupils all the very best for their continued time in education and their careers thereafter.”

Since our inception, Shield Services Group has always supported good causes and those in need of assistance.  Helping the disadvantaged is a core part of our values and reflects the family way in which we operate.  Since 2021 we have been measuring all of our Social Value activities to demonstrate the positive impact that we have across our various office and project locations.
