Shield Achieves Armed Forces Covenant Bronze Award

Shield Services Group Has Received The Employer Recognition Scheme, Bronze Award, From The Armed Forces Covenant

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) rewards and recognises UK employers for their support and commitment to the Defence sector. The scheme encompasses Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards for employers that pledge, demonstrate and advocate support to Defence and the Armed Forces community by aligning their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.

Luke House, Chairman of Shield Service Group, commented, “I am delighted that Shield Services Group has received this bronze award recognition from the Armed Forces Covenant.  We have, for many years, supported the Armed Forces Communities and have had the pleasure and benefit of former service personnel coming and joining Shield, bringing with them a dedication and commitment that has helped to drive the business forward.  This bronze award is a further step in the strengthening of our relationship with the Armed Forces Communities.”

Since our inception, Shield Services Group has always supported good causes and those in need of assistance.  Helping the disadvantaged is a core part of our values and reflects the family way in which we operate.  Since 2021 we have been measuring all of our Social Value activities to demonstrate the positive impact that we have across our various office and project locations.
