Shield Services Group Chairman Named Male Entrepreneur Of The Year

The South West Business and Community Awards has acknowledged Luke House with the Male Entrepreneur Of The Year Award, at their recent February awards evening.

The event, which celebrates the best of achievements within the business community, identified Luke as, ‘the driving force behind Shield’s significant growth and diversification. Your leadership, vision and commitment to your team is highly commendable.’

During his acceptance speech, Luke commented, “I am extremely humbled but proud to have received this award, thank you. Having diversified Shield into many different sectors over the years, with each becoming established in its own right, I look at why they have become so successful and it is clear to me that it is down to the people that you surround yourself with,  One of my only talents is recognising good people very quickly, and I’m proud to say that all our businesses are full of them. Therefore I dedicate this award to them and also my wife (pictured left with Luke) and children who have supported me all the way. Thank you.“
