Shield are proud to renew our partnership with the British Lung Foundation as a Silver Patron of the Mesothelioma Patron Scheme. The BLF’s Patron Scheme has been set up to fund  research for Mesothelioma and brings together companies who have direct experience of Mesothelioma or asbestos. By funding vital research, we can change lives today and create hope for tomorrow.

Mesothelioma is a cancer caused by asbestos that mainly affects the lining of the lungs. As a leading national asbestos removal specialist, we feel it is important that we contribute to mesothelioma research so we can better understand the disease, and help people live longer.

Ian Jarrold, Head of Research at the British Lung Foundation, said: “We’re delighted that Shield has renewed as a BLF partner, and we’re grateful for their generous donation.
