Annual Celebration 2019

Last Friday saw a very special Annual Celebration that marked 40 years of Shield’s work.

The evening of glitz and glamour was held at Bath Racecourse, who hosted clients, suppliers and employees.

The event saw a moving speech from the Managing Director, Luke House who considered how far the business, originally set up by his father 40 years ago, had grown and how this family business had developed in that time.

Singing performances from ‘The Undercover Waiters’ was an unexpected surprise to enjoy while guests ate a three course meal. A raffle and silent auction guided by the compère, Simon Robertson, concluded the meal with bidders receiving tickets to rugby matches, a night at a hotel and other prizes.

Awards were given to people and teams that had stood out in the past year for their hard work, support and efforts and set the tone for a busy dance floor late into the night.

The organisers, Tracey and Joanne, were thanked for their efforts and they, themselves, would like extend their thanks to everyone who donated prizes and everyone who attended, you made it a fantastic night!
