Our Third Annual Awards night was held last Friday at Bath Racecourse with a Masquerade themed evening, hosting clients, supplier and employees from various branches across the country.

These awards are an opportunity to recognise significant achievements over the past year and raise funds for some charities that are close to both Shield Group and the House family.

The theme of the night was amplified by performances from the blockbuster movie The Greatest Showman, a fantastic MC, Steve Walls and one of our very own – Alex Laughlan, Bristol Asbestos Contracts Manager – entertaining everyone with live singing to the end of the evening.

Awards were presented to teams and individuals that have stood out over the past year, including Supervisor of the Year – Phil Dupplaw, Employee of the Year – Tracey Redmond, Division of the Year – M&E, Branch of the Year – Cardiff, Special Recognition of the Year – Dave Pearce and others. Client Awards were presented for Sub-Contractor of the Year, Framework of the Year, Division New Client of the Year, Client of the Year and Contract of the Year.

The Raffle and Silent Auction concluded the formal part of the evening with bidders receiving Rugby Tickets, Signed Sports Memorabilia, various Vouchers and other prizes; raising in total £2,425 for Prader-Willi Syndrome Association and £770.00 for The British Lung Foundation.

A massive thank you to Tracey Redmond and Joanne Robb for organising a fantastic event, to Dean Howe and Luke House for hosting and to everyone who donated such great prizes. All in all, a fantastic and memorable evening.
