Shield’s Fire and Security services are top-of-the-range and include traditional and technologically advanced security systems to prevent theft, damage and assist in property protection. Our systems can integrate with pre-existing infrastructures. Alternatively, we can provide a complete end-to-end service, including design and installation.

Our approach is customer focussed, and we will work with you to design and install systems appropriate for your requirements, offering guidance throughout the process. We can design, and install bespoke intruder alarms available as wired or wireless systems, HD CCTV with IP networkable systems and off-site remote monitoring & prevention, motion detection or human verification, standard access or the more state-of-the-art access control systems with biometric identification.

We are fully certified and approved by BAFE (British Approval for Fire Equipment) and SSAIB (Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board), with all our installations and paperwork audited regularly. Our works are completed in accordance with EN45011 Product Certification Body and EN45012 as a Quality Management System Certification Body and third-party certified by UK’s Accreditation Service (UKAS) for the installation and maintenance of Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems. We are also members of Safecontractor, CHAS and Constructionline Gold.

Safety is our priority, and all our engineers receive in-house Health & Safety training and practice the Safety First initiative. In addition, engineers undergo Fire Industry Association (FIA) courses to meet our accreditations and standards. Our engineers also complete specific manufacturer’s training as required.

We test all our systems pre and post-installation and also in varying weather conditions to ensure they remain in good working conditions whatever the weather. Post-installation, we can provide support and maintenance packages to suit your requirements, and we guarantee our work will comply with current regulations.

Our clients cross both the public and private sectors throughout the country.
